The average ambulance response call out time increased by more than 45% in the months of March & April.
Response times to standard emergency call outs, including strokes heart attacks shot up due to the increased pressure on staff from Covid-19 cases. In London, England 1 in 10 patience had to wait over 2 hours and 20 minutes for an ambulance to arrive.
A quick response to any life threatening emergency is crucial. By providing emergency first aid immediately, the chances of survival are dramatically increased.
